Heritage Boat Works
aka Heritage Boat Company
The 1983 Sailboat Buyers' Guide published by Sea Shore Publications indicates that the Yankee 30 was available at that time from Heritage Boat Works for $60,000 with sails, or as a kit for $26,000. The displacement specifications seem to indicate that they built the Mark III. According to the N.A.D.A. Marine Appraisal Guide, the Yankee 30 was manufactured by Heritage Boat Works from 1982 through 1990. They also built the Yankee 26 during this same time period. According to publicly accessible information from the U.S. Coast Guard, Heritage Boat Works was in business from December 12, 1972 until June 12, 1990. Boats built by them carry a hull identification number (HIN) beginning with the manufacturer identification code (MIC) HRG. Heritage was owned by Hal Seagraves, and moved from 1331 Country Club Road to 400 N. 2nd Street, Hood River, OR 97031 in April, 1979.
