Vashon Boat Works
I haven't been able to find much concerning Vashon Boat Works, except that they built the Yankee 30 Mark III out on Vashon Island. They built at least one Yankee 30 in a pilothouse version - see Hana for a photo. According to publically accessible U.S. Coast Guard records, the business was in operation from May 14, 1976 until July 18, 1983. Boats built by them carry a hull identification number beginning with their manufacturer identification code (MIC) VBW. The business was owned by Jan M. Nielsen.
